Dr. Downing has been a keynote speaker for several graduation ceremonies. Sher also keynotes for EdTech conferences.

With three decades of expertise in higher education and corporate training, Sher Downing is a seasoned speaker and lecturer. She has addressed audiences at international and national events, participated in various conferences in-person and virtually, and has been featured as a guest on both international and national podcasts. In addition to her speaking engagements, she has served as faculty at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Sher also hosts her own podcast, Forward Thinking Experts (formerly EdTech Speaks).
