Madhu Lakshmanan is the Media & Analytics Expert at Downing EdTech Consulting

Madhu is a seasoned training, technology and project management professional. As a consultant, she has worked in the fields of higher education, legal aid technology and human resource development. Her goal is to help individuals and organizations to showcase their strengths through data analytics and training. She believes that even small insights and skills produce rich rewards. 

Earlier, Madhu has been associated for over 5 years with the Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (LSNTAP) where she worked with internal and external teams in a variety of roles. These include building and managing a survey tool library for the national legal aid community, conducting trainings on data analysis, technology policy, mapping etc. and presenting at conferences. Subsequently she worked at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University as a Media and Analytics Manager in their Online Academic Services Area. Her work included managing a team of trainers and designers to help academic faculty design and deliver world class content.

Madhu has graduate degrees in IT Management from the University of North Carolina and in Information Economics, Management and Policy from the University of Michigan. Her interests include travel and reading and she spends her spare time coaching quizbowl teams at the middle and high school levels.
